Promise Theory
@anthonycorletti

A promise is one of the most expensive things we can make.

A commitment to a person, cause, or group. Each with unrealized consequences, and unrealized celebrations.

From wikipedia;

Promise Theory is being described as a modeling tool or a method of analysis suitable for studying any system of interacting components. It is not a technology or design methodology and does not advocate any position or design principle, except as a method of analysis.

Applied to public markets, promise theory can be used to great effect. Private markets however have unknown agents, outcomes, and intentions.

Promise theory assumes that all agents are, for all intents and purposes, autonomous. These agents are able to voluntarily assist other agents.

This might be the next step humanity takes in the frontier of artificial intelligence.

Imagine, for every GPT you create, there's something happening behind the scenes. A greenroom of GPTs, gabbing away, volunteering to help one another, and play a part in the first super-GPT.

Amazing and scary at the same time.

What's ironic is that it has been happening all along.
